Requirement

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research
  • Excellent skills in quantitative data analysis and qualitative insights
  • Experience in various research and data analysis methods, including tools such as Kobo Toolbox, ODK Platform, and Microsoft Excel, R, SQL, among others.
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, and capability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines.

Job Summary:

The Data & Research Officer will work by designing research strategies, ensuring that findings inform effective advocacy, policymaking, and social impact. The role involves designing and developing both qualitative and quantitative research that aligns with our vision, ensuring our data and research work is timely, credible, and accurate. Additionally, it requires curating analysing data, and producing reports in a user-friendly format, all while driving data-driven advocacy and monitoring the effectiveness of policies and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conducts research: Designs and implements research studies to gather insights on key issues

– Collects and analyzes data: Gathers and analyzes data from various sources to inform decision-making

– Provides insights: Interprets data and provides recommendations to stakeholders

– Manages data systems: Maintains databases and ensures data quality and security

– Supports reporting: Contributes to reports, publications, and presentations

– Collaborates with teams: Works with program teams to integrate research findings into programs and policies

– Monitors and evaluates: Tracks project progress and evaluates impact using data

Finance/Admin Officer

Location: Abuja

Requirements: 
  • BSC or HND in Accounting or Finance-related discipline. 
  • Experience: 2 – 3 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Must have completed NYSC. 
  • Proficient in accounting principles and financial regulations. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use accounting software (QuickBooks) is an added advantage
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Officer to support our financial team in managing and maintaining our accounting records, preparing financial reports, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in finance or accounting, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and budget variance analyses
  • Record and process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform calculations and reconcile financial statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and preparing correspondence
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases
  • Ensure all transactions comply with Invictus Africa’s accounting policy and donor restrictions.
  • Managing and maintaining accounting records.
  • Verifying invoice accuracy and preparing necessary documents for payment.
  • Ensure timely remittance of statutory payments (PAYE, WHT, and pension).
  • Reconciling the staff advance account(s) and ensuring that all advances are liquidated timeously.
  • Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for implemented projects.

Maintain confidentiality of all financial and other job-related information.

  • Assist with administrative tasks
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned.

Multimedia Officer

Location: Abuja

  • Requirement

    – Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

    – Proven experience in multimedia content creation, video production, and photography.

    – Proficiency in multimedia software (Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software).

    – Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
